How much do Dental Veneers Cost in the Gold Coast / Australia?
Porcelain and Composite Veneers by Oasis Dental Studio
It is an exciting time for our patients as we can offer multiple ways in which to achieve that whiter, brighter yet natural looking smiles you have always desired.
Veneers can be utilised to enhance the appearance of your smile, giving us the ability to alter the colour, shape, size and close gaps, amongst other enhancements. Porcelain veneers are constructed from thin wafer like shells that are hand-made to fit over your existing teeth, enhancing the natural look of your teeth all whilst providing strength that is comparable to your original teeth, when used in the right situation. They are handcrafted by our master ceramists on the Gold Coast, and can often be as thin as 0.3mm to 1mm. We don’t utilise anything that is off the shelf, with every veneer being bespoke to your mouth. This is the only way that natural life-like aesthetics can be achieved, making your veneer indiscernible from a natural tooth.
Composite veneers may be suitable in certain cases, and provide a relatively cheaper alternative to porcelain veneers. They may not be as strong as porcelain veneers in patients who place a lot of force on their teeth, and are unfortunately susceptible to chipping, colour change and staining over time. They are constructed from the same material that it utilised to provide white fillings and are handcrafted in a single visit. They can be used successfully to provide excellent aesthetics where minor changes in tooth size and shape are required, or where small gaps require closing. Our dentists have a keen eye for aesthetics and their philosophy of minimally invasive dentistry means they can help you decide between composite and porcelain veneers. Their goal is for you to achieve your desired smile using the most conservative treatment options possible all whilst obtaining a long-lasting result.
All of our patient’s who require veneers undergo a thorough smile analysis, with our dentists and ceramists working together to create a blue-print for a smile that suits your face and personality. At this point we may even create a “mock up” of your final veneers and be able to try them on to see if you are happy with proposed changes. We also use digital smile design techniques to help us plan and show you what your final smile would look like, utilising high quality digital imaging and 3D scans of your teeth. This will also allow you to appreciate how many veneers may be required to achieve your desired end result, ranging anywhere between 1 to 10 veneers and in some cases a full mouth reconstruction.
This cost of this process starts at $150 and varies depending on the amount of treatment that is required. We will advise you of the exact cost after your first consultation. It is generally recommended that you whiten your teeth prior to having veneers placed, allowing us to match your new veneers to your new brighter, whiter smile.
