Our Gold Coast dentists are proud to offer multiple ways to achieve the whiter, brighter yet natural looking smile you’ve always desired with veneers.
What are porcelain veneers?
At Oasis Dental Studio we use porcelain veneers as a conservative alternative to crowns. They are designed in a similar manner as false fingernails; the porcelain shells are bonded to the front surface of your teeth. They are also colour matched so you will be guaranteed a healthy, natural looking smile.
All of our patient’s who require veneers undergo a thorough smile analysis, with our dentists and ceramists working together to create a blue-print for a smile that suits your face and personality. At this point we may even create a “mock up” of your final veneers and be able to try them on to see if you are happy with proposed changes. We also use digital smile design techniques to help us plan and show you what your final smile would look like, utilising high quality digital imaging and 3D scans of your teeth. This will also allow you to appreciate how many veneers may be required to achieve your desired end result, ranging anywhere between 1 to 10 veneers and in some cases a full mouth reconstruction.
This cost of this process varies depending on the amount of treatment that is required. We will advise you of the exact cost after your first consultation. It is generally recommended that you whiten your teeth prior to having veneers placed, allowing us to match your new veneers to your new brighter, whiter smile.
What are composite veneers?
The main difference between porcelain veneers and composite veneers is that composite veneers (also known as composite bonding) require less tooth preparation meaning they can be reversed, while porcelain veneers are irreversible. Composite bonding has limitations, so it’s best to book a free consultation with one of our Gold Coast dentists to help you determine your best options!

Premium Composite Veneers Cost
Our dentists are highly skilled in the application of composite veneers, using advanced techniques with the best available materials to apply composite in controlled layers of different optical properties, attempting to mimic the aesthetics that are achievable with porcelain. If your Dentist deems composite veneers more suitable than porcelain, this solution will provide the most life like results when compared to the basic option. This however does require some more time in the chair as we hand sculpt your new veneers and is quite an artistic process. These are completed in a single visit, with a second appointment scheduled 2-5 days later for final buffing and polishing.
Price: From $650 per tooth (Health Fund Item Code 526)
Basic Composite Veneers Cost
These composite veneers are constructed in a single visit using a single coloured composite resin. The colour and shapes are still customisable with good aesthetic outcomes achievable. As they are constructed from a single shaded material, the end result can appear more monochromatic compared to the other alternatives. These provide a more short to medium term outcome and as a result may require more maintenance/further treatment in the future.
Price: $350 per tooth (Health Fund Item Code 526)
Long-term Maintenance Costs
It is essential that your veneers are cared for with excellent at home hygiene techniques. Your dentist will tailor a home-care routine to suit your specific needs. A night guard or grinding splint is generally recommended to help protect your natural teeth and your new veneers. This will assist in preventing premature fracturing and chipping of your veneers, increasing their longevity.
