The exact moment that I decided I wanted to become a dentist was…
I remember it clearly, as it was a big decision to change career paths after working in IT. I had always been interested in healthcare, and dentistry offered the opportunity to make a direct impact on patients’ oral health.
What I love most about my job…
Building relationships with patients and supporting them in improving their oral health. Dentistry allows you to have a meaningful impact on people’s wellbeing.
My favourite type of treatment…
I enjoy all areas of dentistry, but particularly oral surgery. In some cases, removing the source of discomfort or infection can help improve a patient’s condition. Treatment decisions are always based on individual clinical needs.
If I wasn’t a dentist, I would be…
I would likely still be working in a corporate role.
My favourite thing to do on the Gold Coast in my spare time…
Staying active at the gym, spa or sauna, and spending time at the beach.
