We only use reputable implants, genuine components and Australian laboratories for all restorations. If you’re asking yourself “How much does a dental implant cost?”, here’s what you need to know:
Which Dental Implants are Best for Me?
Dental implants are not a one-size-fits-all solution. Every dental implant procedure is unique and requires individual assessment and planning with a highly skilled and qualified dental implant dentist. Your goals and individual requirements will be discussed and a detailed treatment plan provided for you.
Just as each treatment is unique and based on your individual situation, health fund item codes are indicative only and a complete breakdown and quote will be provided to you at your final consultation.
Cost of Initial Dental Implant Appointments
Complimentary Initial Consultation
We provide a complimentary initial consultation for all implant cases (no-gap with a health fund). At this appointment, we can review your treatment goals and provide further information regarding your suitability for treatment and what can be expected. This includes reviewing both your general health and medical status as well as local, site-specific factors which may be relevant to implant rehabilitation. If you are happy to proceed further, we will then organise records and planning an appointment.
3D Planning and Photography Cost $250
We provide in-house 3D planning for all dental implant cases. This involves taking a CBVT (Cone Beam Volumetric Tomograph) of your jaw to accurately assess the quality and quantity of your jaw bone, as well as to identify all vital structures such as nerves, vessels and sinuses. At this stage we are then able to provide a detailed final quotation for your dental implant treatment.
Typical health fund codes: 026, 089, 031, 032

How Much Do Dental Implants Cost? (All on 4 / All on 4 Plus / All on 6 / Teeth on Implants)
Starting from $23,500 – $34,000
Including preliminary implant and final titanium bridge
The All on 4 bridge replaces your teeth, your missing gum and jaw bone. By replacing the gum and bone (the pink part of the bridge) we can improve facial contours and restore natural function. Your replacement teeth will perfectly replicate natural teeth, allowing you to eat practically anything and share your confident new smile!
These treatments restore full arches of teeth with fixed bridgework, with between 10-14 teeth per arch by supporting them with 4-6 dental implants per arch.
Extra Costs
Temporary Teeth Cost
- Removable teeth: $230
- Bonded to adjacent teeth: $500 (not removable)
- Immediate temporary teeth attached to the implant: $600 (not suitable for all cases)
Grafting Cost
Unfortunately, we commonly encounter implant sites which are deficient in soft tissue (gum) and or hard tissue (bone) volume. In these cases, additional augmentation procedures are either essential for implant treatment, or beneficial for implant treatment. At your consultation, any specific extra requirements or optional extra treatments will be discussed. In some cases, grafts can be avoided but it may result in a less aesthetic outcome.
- Soft tissue grafts : $250-$1,000 To repair deficient gums. Typical health fund codes: 235, 236
- Hard tissue grafting or GBR (Guided Bone Regeneration): $250-$1,000 To repair minor deficiencies in bone volume. Typical health fund codes: 234, 236, 243
- Sinus lifting grafts: $400-$2,500 From $400 for simple lifts which can be performed at the same time as implant placement, up to $2500 for major lateral wall sinus lifting. This is required when no bone exists in the back of the upper jaw. Typical health fund codes: 234, 236, 243
Costs of Implant Support and Retention for Dentures
It is not uncommon for denture wearers to struggle with lower dentures. We have a range of solutions that can assist with either retention (preventing your denture from dislodging) or both retention and support (for patients who have pain when chewing due to the force from the denture against thin gums).
- Single implant and conversion of existing denture: $3,250
- Two implants and conversion of existing denture: $5,250
