After graduating, she moved to Canada with her husband and practised there for several years before settling in the Northern Rivers area. As a general dentist, she enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with a particular interest in orthodontics.
She has completed a one-year residency in Comprehensive Orthodontics in the USA and a two-year advanced orthodontics program in Canada. She is a Fellow of the International Association of Orthodontics. As an orthodontic provider, she takes a comprehensive approach to treatment planning and provides a range of orthodontic options including removable and fixed appliances, Invisalign and traditional braces. Treatment suitability and outcomes vary depending on individual circumstances.
Dr Trisna is known for her friendly, calm and professional manner. She works well with children and patients who may feel anxious about dental treatment. She is also certified in oral and nitrous oxide sedation where appropriate.
Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, kitesurfing and hiking with her dogs. She also values travel and has participated in dental volunteer work internationally.
