Dr. Nick used to work as a Pharmacist in Hobart before changing careers to Dentistry and he has never looked back. Nick loves that he can put all my energy and focus into one patient at a time and is grateful for the connections that he can develop. He particularly enjoys helping patients who have avoided the dentist to rehabilitate their mouths so they feel confident and comfortable.
Since graduating Nick has continued to further his education in all areas of dentistry and is currently undertaking fellowships in Aligner Orthodontics and Implant Dentistry. Outside of dentistry (and depending on fitness) you’ll find Nick prepping for my two favourite events of the year: Noosa Triathlon and GC marathon.

The exact moment that I decided I wanted to become a dentist was…
If you have spent any time around Asian families you may be aware of the stereotype for their kids to be doctors. Medical doctors. If this is news to you, now you know!
Presciently, when I was fourteen my Western-turned-Eastern medical doctor aunt held my wrist to count my pulse. When she said ‘Doctor’ my heart didn’t change but when she said ‘Dentist’ it raced.
Call it destiny or rebellion, perhaps Dentistry chose me.
What I love most about my job is…
My patients and the team I get to work with. Dentistry is most fun when the people and the playlist are in harmony.
My favourite type of dental treatment is…
I’m still figuring out my favourite but it’s whatever combination of skills I can use to help my patients get comfortable and happy.
If I wasn’t a dentist, I would be…
A Coach. Going deep into the details and helping others find and surpass their limits is something I find super rewarding.
My favourite thing to do in my spare time is…
The first thing I did when I moved was scroll marketplace where I found my dream bike at an absolute steal. A morning ride on a quiet road in the mountains is something I do not take for granted. A post-ride pastry makes for a great start to the day!
