Growing up in Emerald, Liam was the kid who actually looked forward to dentist appointments. That early curiosity turned into a passion for working with his hands, solving problems, and helping people, which naturally led him into dentistry.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from JCU Cairns, Liam spent several years in private practice on the Sunshine Coast before joining the Oasis Dental team. He takes pride in delivering precise, modern dentistry while keeping his approach friendly and relaxed.
He has undertaken further studies through a Fellowship in Restorative Dentistry, focusing on oral rehabilitation, aesthetics, and minimally invasive techniques. He is also completing a Diploma in Implantology, with an emphasis on the latest technologies for restoring missing teeth. Dr Liam is passionate about patient education and prevention, taking the time to ensure his patients understand their oral health and how to maintain it long-term.

What I love most about my job is…
I love seeing my regular patients and hearing their life updates on the last 6 months. I also find it super rewarding seeing anxious patients slowly get more comfortable coming in to get their treatment done.
My favourite type of dental treatment is…
I enjoy all areas of general dentistry, but I have a particular soft spot for implant surgery. There’s lots of problem-solving, precision, and constantly evolving technology to nerd out over.
I also love seeing the shift in someone’s confidence after restoring their smile. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching a patient go from hiding their teeth to showing them off proudly.
If I wasn’t a dentist, I would be…
I would probably be an electrician or a chef, just something to keep my hands and mind busy.
My favourite type of dental treatment is…
Same day Cerec crowns – where you take a tooth that is pretty beaten up or broken down and take it apart, rebuild and restore it all with a ceramic restoration using advanced technology, within a couple of hours.
My favourite thing to do in my spare time is…
My favourite thing to do in my spare time would be disconnecting for the weekend and going on a camping trip. Outside of this, I like finding new coffee spots, training Muay Thai, cooking new recipes and spending time with my family.
