Dr Amrish Rajdev relocated to the Gold Coast from the UK, bringing with him a strong academic background and a genuine passion for patient-centred care. He graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Bristol and also holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Dental Materials from Queen Mary University of London, graduating with First-Class Honours.
Amrish enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, from routine check-ups and preventative care to more complex treatments such as root canal therapy. He finds dentistry truly rewarding and is committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for every patient.
Known for his calm and approachable manner, Amrish takes pride in creating a comfortable, relaxed environment where patients feel heard and supported. He understands that visiting the dentist can feel daunting for some, and believes clear communication and gentle care are key to building trust and confidence – whether it’s a patient’s very first appointment or they’ve been attending regularly for years.
Outside the clinic, Amrish embraces the Gold Coast lifestyle. He enjoys cooking and baking, staying active, and spending time outdoors. You’ll often find him hiking with his wife, playing padel, joining local run clubs, or most recently, attempting to master surfing.

The exact moment that I decided I wanted to become a dentist was…
I was always drawn to dentistry because it combines working with your hands and working closely with people – which, to me, is the perfect balance. The moment it really clicked was during work experience, when I saw a complex case completed and watched the patient leave smiling with a whole new level of confidence. Seeing that kind of transformation made me think, this is what I want to do!
What I love most about my job is…
The people, without a doubt. I love getting to know my patients and being part of a team that works together to make a difference. Dentistry is a mix of problem-solving, creativity and precision – with no two days ever the same. There’s nothing more rewarding than helping a nervous patient feel at ease and seeing their confidence grow appointment by appointment.
My favourite type of dental treatment is…
I genuinely enjoy all aspects of general dentistry, but I have a particular interest in root canal treatments. I love the challenge, the fine detail, and the millimetre precision involved. I also take great pleasure in proving that root canals have an unfair reputation – with modern techniques, they should be comfortable and pain-free!
If I wasn’t a dentist, I would be…
A pilot. I’ve always been a bit of an aviation enthusiast and love the calm, methodical approach flying requires. (Plus, the cockpit views wouldn’t be bad either.)
My favourite thing to do on the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Pottsville in my spare time is…
