The exact moment that I decided I wanted to become a dentist was…
In school. I’d always been drawn to the idea of working in healthcare and enjoyed anything that combined artistry, technical skill and being able to work in a team. Dentistry offered the perfect balance of these things and the chance to make a real impact in people’s lives every day.
What I love most about my job is…
I love being able to help patients feel confident in their smiles again, especially those who may have avoided treatment for years. Seeing their reaction at the end of a rehabilitation case is always incredibly rewarding.
I also enjoy how dentistry is constantly evolving through research, innovation, and clinical studies. Staying up-to-date with the latest techniques, materials, and digital protocols allows me to deliver the highest standard of care in the most minimally invasive way possible; always with long-term function, aesthetics, and patient comfort in mind.
My favourite type of dental treatment is…
Full mouth smile rehabilitations. I enjoy the process of carefully planning every step to meet a patient’s individual needs and then bringing that vision to life with precision and care. There’s nothing more satisfying than helping someone rediscover the joy in their smile.
If I wasn’t a dentist, I would be…
A chef. I’ve always loved cooking; there’s something satisfying about creating something that brings joy to others. Like dentistry, it’s about precision, planning, aesthetics, and an understanding of ingredients (or materials) to create the perfect result
My favourite thing to do in my spare time is…
Attempting to learn how to surf (with varied success!), exploring the restaurants and hunting down the best coffee. I’m loving everything about the area: the people, the beaches, the weather – it’s an amazing place to call home.
